Some Backstory

A native New Yorker, he began his career as a child actor with such companies as the Abrons Arts Center and Henry Street Settlement. For college Andrew attended the conservatory program at Boston University. During his time at BU, he also trained at LAMDA in the UK, focusing on classical technique and stage combat.

After receiving his BFA in acting performance, he returned to NYC where he continues to work as a performer and creative. He has worked with creatives including Rachel Chavkin, Stephen Schwartz, Neil Pepe, Neil Berg, Robert Schenkkan, and David Brimmer. Andrew trains with top coaches including Bob Krakower, Deric Rosenblatt, Craig Carnelia, and Betsy Polatin.

As a musician, Andrew began his journey early on. He first picked up a toy violin at age two, and never wanted to put it down! He attended the Manhattan School of Music for violin, voice, and piano. He is now a front line member of one of the top NYC event bands – the Michael Hart Band – as an electric violinist and vocalist.

Andrew has a passion for stage combat as both a performer and choreographer for stage and screen. He also has creative experience as a director and editor, as well as scoring to picture.

Aside from work, Andrew enjoys motorcycles, driving, soccer, fitness, and video games. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity, Andrew plans to continue all his passions, one day bi-coastally.
